2024 Proposal-Writing Programs
New this year: While the Information Session will address the general process of writing and applying for external grants (all competitions), the Proposal Workshop will assist faculty applying for the NEH Summer Stipend internal competition. A new ACLS Info Session & Workshop will be led by Foundation Relations. This is part of a broader effort to offer targeted support for specific grant opportunities (also including NEH Fellowships and NEH Collaborative Research Grants) throughout the academic year.
Faculty who are planning to apply for the Summer Faculty Research Grant (FRG) are strongly encouraged to apply for the NEH Summer Stipend internal competition as well. Beginning with the fall 2024 cycle, the application (and deadline of September 3) for these awards is combined.
