RDE Faculty Retreat Fall 2018

Friday-Saturday, September 28–29 & Saturday, October 6

Drawing inspiration from the efforts led by the (Modern Language Association (ConnectedAcademics) and the American Historical Association (Career Diversity) to reimagine doctoral training, the Fall 2018 RDE Faculty Retreat — taking place Sept. 28–29 and Oct. 6 — will focus on the best pedagogical practices for instilling capacities essential for success both within academia and in the world beyond. Presentations and hands-on workshops will cover areas such as project management, collaborative research and writing, communicating with multiple audiences, and building partnerships with community organizations. Participants will receive a $500 honorarium.
