To assist in these efforts, the Center for the Humanities will host an information session for faculty and postdocs in the humanities and humanistic social sciences interested in pursuing external funding. Proposal Workshop
Group leaders: Tili Boon Cuillé, Professor of French and Comparative Literature; Joanna Dee Das, Assistant Professor of Dance; Ignacio Infante, Associate Professor of Comparative Literature and Associate Director, Center for the Humanities
Workshopping of proposals to be submitted in fall 2022 or spring 2023. Led by a senior faculty member, participants in these small groups will give a critical reading of one another’s proposals and offer observations at the first meeting. At the second meeting, participants will share their revised proposals. Participants are asked to commit to both meetings. We will make every effort to accommodate participants’ Zoom or in-person preferences. Please use the RSVP link at the bottom of this page to let us know if you plan to participate. Timeline
Friday, August 19, 12 pm CDT: Proposal submission due date
Deadline to submit proposals for workshopping (email to cenhumapp@wustl.edu). Participants can expect to receive an email with the proposals of group members shortly thereafter. Please review and prepare comments on those proposals in advance of the group’s first meeting.
August 25 or 26: First Review
