Graduate students in the humanities and humanistic social sciences are invited to participate in the Center for the Humanities’ workshop series for those planning to submit a proposal to the Mellon/ACLS Dissertation Innovation Fellowship competition. This fellowship is intended for those who have completed coursework but not yet advanced to the ABD stage (see the program's webpage for more details on eligibility). Those who don’t meet those requirements for this round of applications are still very welcome to attend and learn.
Over the course of the workshop, participants will learn about the fellowship and the elements of its application, receive feedback on their drafted proposals, and learn about the on-campus resources for research and professional development. Attendance at every session is not required, and new participants may join as they are able.
Applications for the national competition are due no later than 9 pm EDT, October 30, 2024.
