Workshop, August 25 and second meeting the week of August 30

Small-group workshopping of proposals to be submitted in fall 2021 or spring 2022. Led by a senior faculty member, participants will give a critical reading of one another’s proposals and offer observations at the first meeting. At the second meeting, participants will share their revised proposals. Follow the link above to RSVP (required for participation).

2021 Scholarly Writing Retreat

June 1–11, 2021

The Scholarly Writing Retreat offers Washington University humanities and humanistic social sciences faculty, post-docs and graduate students the opportunity to jump-start their summer writing in a motivated, supportive and collaborative atmosphere, even as we are spread out in our own work spaces. Participants will work intensively on their individual projects, following a schedule of check-ins, focused writing periods and virtual communal breaks.
